Anyone have luck with the cheap scales found on eBay? Which one?

I bought this over two years ago, works great! It measures in oz, not grams though... I used to use it for shipping non-animals so!

I paid ten or twelve dollars a few years ago at WallMart. Switches between grams and ounces easily. IIRC, it can measure up to 11 lbs. With milking and winter bread baking, ours daily - often multiple times. Been through a couple of batteries, that's all. The numbers are big and clear, but one thing I HATE about it is that the indicator for the g, kg, oz,...etc is very small - nearly impossible to read!

I bought my latest one from Walmart too. They're $10-15 for a digital scale that will read both pounds and grams. My current one is annoying that it defaults to pounds, so it always has to be switched to grams and if you don't have something going on it, it will shut of automatically really quickly so I end up having to turn it back on, switch it back to grams... sigh.

Got mine at Walmart also, like $15 in the cooking section. :gj::gj:

+1 For cooking section walmart scales under 20$. The weight plate is a little small so I bought a 1$ dollar store Tupperware to sit on top of it to put snakes in. Scale goes up to 11 lbs and has a zero/tare function as well as multiple units of measure that can be changed with the push of a button. I can usually get one snake off and the next on before it shuts off. Exceptions happen when someone wants to be difficult and wrap their tail around hides or fingers.
