Meet Barry the Bumblebee! (a bit pic heavy)
I picked him up this morning! Hatch date 06/06, about 220 grams (need to weigh him myself), and most of the way through a shed. Previous owner had a glass tank with low humidity so his shed is a bit stuck around his head, so we're working on that.
He's very gentle and shy (of course) but very curious - doesn't ball up as much as I'd think he would, very inquisitive.

Very nice! How about with that wobble thing, when do they start with that, if they have it? Is it a certain age or is it possible that they do that when they become older? I'm asking because, I want to buy a bumblebee too.

I read that it varies. Some show it when they're young, some don't and then develop it when they're older. It's just a hit and miss thing I guess, since we haven't figured out what exactly causes the problem!

Beautiful Bumble Bee,
I really need to get me some BP with the Spider gene.

All Spider and Spider Combo's have the wobble, some have a bad wobble others have a wobble that you almost can't see BUT all Spider and Spider Combo's have it and they have it since they are born as it is something genetic that is linked to the Spider gene.

Fantastic example of a good bumblebee

He's absolutely stunning. I love Bumblebees. Maybe in a couple of years if I have the funds and the means I can breed my Spider with the right kind of male to get a Bumblebee. :)
