Spiny mice as feeders for ball pythons?
My local store only has spiny mice in stock for feeders until next thursday. I have actually never heard of them before. The pet shop isn't the best place for reliability and only purchase feeders from them. Tomorrow is my snakes feeding do so I need to find a solution so I was wondering if spiny mice will be okay. I am very positive that my live feeding ball pythons wont imprint on them as they are offered other prey items like mice, asfs, hamsters and once a gerbil and never have had any issues. But I have never heard of anyone ever feeding spiny mice and I was wondering if there was a really good reason besides "imprinting". If anyone knows anything, please let me know.
