How do you measure the length of a BP?
I am having so much trouble trying to measure my active 1 month old BP. I've tried aligning a piece of yarn to her body but it doesn't work :colbert:... little Ziggi just won't stop moving and exploring, at least I know she is healthy and active

You Wil find out that most people do not simply because aside from not being pratical it's pretty irrelevant as well for most keepers and definitely for breeders.
Weight is the measurement everyone relies on as well as proportion.

I weigh them, and just guess on length. I've tried to measure them but it's a pain.

For example, my snake slithered along the base of a wall and in front of a door. His head was at one end of the door, and the tail within an inch of the other end of the door, so I just measure the door width and he was about 40 inches in length at the time. Piece of cake.

This method is the best for me as well, so far.
