Ball python eating twice in 2 days

Hi all, I have fed my normal a large weaner on Saturday and my other snake a small weaker on Friday.

My other snake seemed to be roaming about and as I think small weaners are a tad too small for her I thought there is no harm in trying to feed her a small weaner again today (Sunday) to see if she is hungry, she refused but my other python looked very hungry, she was in strike mode and following my hand so I decided to feed the small weaner to her, she took it straight away which means she has eaten 2 days in a row (large weaner and small weaner) she is about a year old and just came out of shed.

She hasn't eaten for 2 weeks prior to this weekend due to the fact she was in shed.


Obviously this is not something I will be doing everyday but just want to know if this ok

No harm in an occasional extra

I did that and he ended up regurgitating the second one but it was fully intact its like he swallowed it then said nah lol. Hopefully yours keeps it down yay for growing babies with big appetites!!

When I bought mine, the pet store guy told me he hadn't eaten this week. So, I fed him, and he took the mouse just fine. I later found out he had eaten the day before without the guy knowing. Anyway, he was perfectly fine. I'm sure yours will be ok

I have a girl that is an eating machine. If she's still looking hungry and one of my other snakes has refused their rat I give it to her sometimes.

Same here. My Enchi and Mojave girls have never refused a meal or a snack which is good because I'm hoping to pair them up next year.
