    Real or fake plants
I am getting some clutter for a b.p. I recently got. Should I use real or fake plants in a glass tank? Thanks!

I use both. You can see some of my cages in my gallery. I get the real plants from Petco. Some have them and some don't. It they do they will usually be where the reptiles and their accessories are.

Overall its your personally preference on what you want to do and can certainly add plants from a nursery as well. I am not a plant expert though so I am not able to tell you what to look for.

I use fake so they're easy to clean and sterilize when they get pooped on.

The times I have had to clean my real plants I just pull them out and clean them like the fake ones. This was a regular issue with my GTP as he was always hanging above them and dropping bombs. However since he is so destructive and was always destroying his plants I removed his real plants. He and my BRB are both rough on their toys.

I use both. I just really like the look of real plants, although, I agree with bcr229 that the fake ones are much easier to clean and sterilize.
