Humidity

I don't have use thermometers or humidity gauge in my normal's terrarium, which is a glass aquarium. He seems to be happy, I just help him shed for the first time since I got him in August at the Reptile Expo in Daytona Beach. What type of water can I mist with that won't leave water marks all over the glass. I cleaned the water marks off with white vinegar on paper towels btw. I only started misting when he showed signs of shedding then I stopped again once he had his fresh skin. Is that okay?

You should probably mist even when not in shed. Only doing it during a shed is not usually soon enough to give a good shed. Many people with glass tanks are served well by misting at least once a day.

Another trick is to place damp moss in the hides. That will give your snake humidity where it stays most and keeps you from having to mist.

Using distilled water will help reduce water marks on the glass.

You need a thermometer/temp gun and a humidity gauge. They're not optional. Fortunately they're pretty cheap:
