    A quest for queen bees
I am mostly making this to use it as a photo dump because this is my first clutch. I have a collection of 5.6 ball pythons but out of the two that were breeding size this year, only one went for me. My killer bee female has been locking with my lesser bee since May and on 11SEP she ovulated.

Nice snakes, especially the Bamboo... Question though, why risk breeding the Spiders with all the bad attention that pairing has received.

SpiderXspider is a debatable topic but it as a lethal pairing is not proven. After talking to a bunch of breeders about it, the consensus was that there is nothing wrong in doing it. Many of the breeders i asked have bred spiders to spiders multiple times without any issues or slugs.

After talking to breeders I also believe it's fine. Interested to see the results of your clutch.

    Thanks Galaxygirl

Side question: What is the average time between Ovi and prelay shed?

We are on day 41 after PLS and she is still holding out on me.. I've been told not to worry until day 50. Question for everybody: what is the latest your girls have laid (with and without assistance)?

Wow I hope she doesn't go that long.. Day 43 now. I'm hopeful it will be really soon though because this morning she looked like she was going to pop with her tail in the middle however she's already fooled me a few times with that last week
