Is my bp fat??

I remember reading that if you can see the skin between their scales it means they're overweight. I got Nagini last April and since the first week she hasn't missed a meal. I was holding her today and I notice when she bends her scales poke out a little and you can see her skin. Is she fat? Or is this normal.

I say she, but I actually don't know if she is a he or a she.

Might be a little on the hefty side but not morbidly obese. It's hard to tell without a full body shot, including head, to see everything in proportion. Really though, it's not something you should have to worry about with growing royals - can't tell what size yours is from the pictures - except in extreme cases. It's when they stop putting on noticeable length that you need to pay closer attention to meal size and frequency. Then again, adults tend to do their own maintenance via fasting. Note to reader, this is not an endorsement for feeding too large meals, too often, to younger regius. If you think your snake is fat, it probably is - adjust your feeding practices.
