Sleeping with BP and a fan??
Hi everyone, I'm Alice. I am new here. I don't have a BP yet, but I plan on getting one very soon. I plan on getting a baby so I want to keep her in a sterilite tub just because I feel it will be easier on both her and me right now.

Well, my question is would sleeping with a fan at night affect the temps or humidity in her tub? I must sleep with a fan at night just because I can't stand complete silence and the noise really calms me and helps me get to sleep.

I've wanted a BP for the longest now, so if it does happen to affect her, I am willing to do away with it. That's just how badly I want one. Any feedback would greatly be appreciated. Thanks :)

I wouldn't recommend having the fan blowing directly on her tub, but other than that I don't see a problem with this at all.

    Most importantly, though, WELCOME!!! :D

It could but there are many factors that play into this to tell you just how it will. In my snake room I had to add a oscillating fan to the room to keep my humidity down in my large pvc cages. I needed some moving air to keep everything right but that will not always be the case in every situation.

I would recommend getting everything your snake will need and set it up as if you have one. Then get everything dialed in so you will already have solved any issues that pop up. Before I bring home any new snake I like to have their cage had already been up and running for at least a week or two.

Not pointing directly at her tub just as Eric said and you will be golden. I keep a fan running in my snake room at all times to improve circulation and manage high humidity. Welcome to the site! I have only been a member for a shot while but the people on this forum are friendly and helpful. I want pics of your new baby ball when you get it!
