Halp! Regurgitation or poop??
I keep staring at this. It looks like a partially digested fuzzy on one end and poop on the other. This is silly, but I had to be sure because Anakin is a baby and has been giving me a LOT of trouble trying to get him to eat. I feed him a week ago and then tried feeding him yesterday and he refused.

I vote poop. Haha. I've seen some pretty fuzzy poop. But that does look pretty weird. Maybe digestion wasn't at its prime? Usually the regurgitation comes up with a bunch of liquids, doesn't it? When my one guy regurgitated, it was in pieces and all wet and slimy.

Hard to tell which end it came out of. In any case, I would skip the next two feedings for two reasons. 1, if it was regurgitated then the stomach acids of the reptile can cause damage to the digestive tract above the stomach. 2, if was a feces expulsion then the animal could have a parasitic infestation and may need medication. Is this the first episode of the type? The other possibility is that the meal was just too large and you should downsize to a smaller prey item after waiting it out. GOOD LUCK.

Why are you keeping a boa constrictor on sand?

Again, I repeat, it is a sand boa. A Kenyan Sand Boa. *this is where I sassily point out the word SAND in the name* ;) I promise I would never put an animal on a substrate that was not fit for it to live on.
