Hi.. When I took the babies out of the tank mom got real pissed and attacks the glass now when I go to feed and spray.... Is it normal for mom to protect her babies or is it something else....

That will not answer your question but having the hatchlings with an adult gecko (related or not) is a VERY VERY bad idea, young hatchling should be housed individually.
