Exoterra wire lamp for CHE good?
I am currently wiring heating for a closed chamber tortoise enclosure. I wa spreviously going to suspend some typical dome lamps, but noticed that the zoomed deep some lamps have dozens of negative reviews regarding sparking and fires from them. I'm now looking at the Exoterra wire lamps. Plan to use a 100w CHE in one, and a 65w or so flood light in the other. Any thoughts on exoterra lamp quality?

Just make sure the socket is ceramic if your using a che, metal or plastic ones cant take the heat they produce

Oh yeah I would never use a non-ceramic lamp. I was just surprised to see zoomed porcelain lamps being reviewed as a fire hazard.

I have done the worst and stupidest thing you could do with one.
Used them in my chicken coup without a problem.
Most bad reviews given are usually from people that shouldn't be in the gene pool due to lack of common sense.
