    Need help identifying this morph!
    Hi all!

I purchased this snake a few weeks ago and he is not like any of the others I have seen. He was sold to me as a vanilla calico but I don't really see the calico gene and the vanilla is more white than any of my other vanilla balls. Just thought I'd get your opinion!

Please let me know if you have additional questions.

I'm no expert, but I agree, it doesn't look like a Vanilla Calico. It is a beauty though.

I doubt its a vanilla but it does have traits of a calico... the only issue is the speckling from the calico gene is usually only the sides. This one seems to be speckled everywhere. Interesting.

Not a vanilla or a calico (calicos bellies look completely different). If anything it looks like healed scale damage.

I am sorry sweetie, and I hope you didn't pay an arm and a leg for it, but I really don't think that's a morph of any kind.

Not vanilla, I breed those. And not calico either, the coloring is all wrong.

I'm afraid what it appears to be, is one of those animals who pop up from time to time that change coloring after a shed, usually from poor care. It's possible this snake always looked this way, I've seen a few that had that weird splotching thing, but it isn't a morph.

Unfortunately I think this is likely just an odd looking normal. I really hope you didn't get cheated too badly, but I promise that is no Vanilla and not a calico either.

What is the seller's return policy?
Looks like a CH animal of some sort, interesting, but I do not think a Calico or Vanilla.

Unfortunately, I don't see a lot of calico or vanilla traits there either.

If I were in this particular situation, I would request previous pictures of the snake and take numerous pictures myself, checking to see if the coloration changes. Another poster mentioned changing colors due to mishandling, and I think that's like what is going on here. On another less likely hand, there may be something totally different here, but I highly doubt that. If this were a morph, I think we'd see more blushing. The creamy suede outlines to the alien heads is interesting though. That's specifically where I'd be watching for color variations from one shed to the next. Good luck.
