    is this normal behavior?
    I have had my fair share of ball pythons and corn snakes before and currently have 5 balls but just curious is this normal behavior? My Super Pastel Lilly is the only one out of my 5 that do it and she does it ALL the time lol. so just checking its normal or not. thank you

    lol thanks i figured it was just never had any other snakes get as high as she does and she always does it especially if my fiance gets up she and walks away. but she is always looking lol.

    Absolutely normal! It's called " periscoping". I think it's also a defensive behavior in the wild looking for shadows of things from up above or the surrounding areas. :)

    Thank you, that does make sense! i think its cool when she does it. she is one snake who seems to love being out of her tub and out with us! my fiance took her over. i've always wanted a Super Pastel i get one and she takes over her and named her. she is one cool BP great personality she is the smallest in my collection at 51g but is a great eater took F/T with no problems
