    heating during a cold snap
We're headed into fall here in MN, and it's starting to get chilly! I love it, my snake probably not so much. I currently have her w/ an under tank heater and a ceramic heat lamp on one side of her cage, and i know it's warmer on the ground where the UTH is, but the ambient air temp is still only reading at about 80-82 degrees, is she going to be ok with that or should i get a second lamp on her? I'm surprised the ceramic bulb isn't heating it more than it is.

80-82 is perfect for ambient temps. Even if it dips down to 78-80 during the colder parts of winter...not a problem, so long as they also have their warmer area and the temps are stable.
