    I was handling little old Archimedes today and saw this:

    He's only about 4 feet, so as you can see, in relation to his scales, this is really small. It's about the size of the tip of a ballpoint pen. I'm not sure how this got here or how I should deal with it, but it clealry looks like it was a full puncture.

    Will he be fine, or should I be doing something about this?

    Do you feed live? If not, might want to try to figure out what in the enclosure could have caused that. My snake got a booboo recently also. Yours is even smaller, but I decided to treat my anyways. Just run to walmart and pick this stuff up. Make sure its the neosporin without painkiller in it.

    Clean with betadine, then apply the ointment.
