she's put on 20g since i got her last month, but she's still so tiny (now 82g)

she's also het clown, and i hope she produces some nice bamboo clown combos for me in 2018

I don't know.... prices have dropped dramatically this past year. I have seen many under $1,500. I really like the base bamboo so it will be added to my collection as well.

Definitely want a bamboo in a couple years.

this is quite true.

I had been planning to get a single gene bamboo male for some time. I was looking at them back in early july, and they were going for $2500. I waited until the big show in Daytona (aug 22-23), and picked up a bamboo YB male for $1800.

I just hope the price doesn't completely bottom out like the banana/CG have in the past 18 months. well, it is a great looking gene, so I believe I can get a decent return on my investment regardless.

Your girl is awesome though! You are very lucky to find a het clown one and for 1800... That's a steal of a deal... I haven't seen single gene for less than 2200 personally...

Did you barter with the breeder? What was the asking price?
