Where can I buy cheap night bulbs online? Where do you buy your bulbs?
    Hi,

I have our BP in a 20 long with a ZooMed dual overhead lamp. I use a standard incandescent bulb for the daytime cycle and a incandescent night bulb for the night cycle. I'm having problems with the night bulbs burning out quickly. I was losing a bulb every 2 weeks and finally brought the ZooMed lamp back and exchanged it. Now the bulbs seem to be lasting a little longer, but even at 3-4 weeks, they are expensive to be replacing that often. The daylight bulb lasts 5-6 times longer... I've tried ZooMed, Zilla and the generic store brand, all with similar results.

I need 75 watt for the summer months and 100 watt for the winter to maintain the right temps.

Does anyone have any recommendations where I can buy them online? $7-10 a bulb at the lps is a bit expensive when they burn out so quickly. I like my setup and i'm not looking to go ceramic. Just looking for a cheap online source.

    Thanks in advance!

The cheapest I found I believe was on eBay in a three pack. But I have bought two packs as well on Amazon.

You just have to comparative shop to pinch those pennies. :)

I would invest in a ceramic bulb from amazon. There is no need for both day and night lights because ceramics don't give off any light just heat. Also the snakes don't really like the visible light too much.
