How often is normal for them to poo??
Hey guys, this is my second post and it's as noob as my first but would love some info. My spider bp was born on July 22 of thia yearand I bought him September 2. His last meal before I picked him up was a thawed hopper on Sept. 1 and I fed him a thawed hopper for the first time on Sept 6 and I also fed him the same on the 12th. Now, he has no problem eating, both time he went right for it. But since I've had him he's pooped only once and it was a m&m sized poo, and I spot cleaned it and he hasn't pooped since and I'm writing this on the 14th. He's so far had 2 hoppers six days apart just in my care and he's only pooped once, and that was a day or two before I fed him for the first time. So he's had 2 hoppers on 2 feeds and hasn't pooped. Is that normal? How often are they supposed to poo? Temps are fine, humidity's on point, he's happy in his hide, happy on my arm, but so far no poo, other than the 4th day or so I had him. Any info or experience is much appreciated, thanks guys!

It can be every week, every other week, every month every other month.

So long there is not apparent persistent bulge near the cloaca which would indicate a problem you are good :gj:

There is no "persistent" bulge, but i picked him up about a half hour ago and he looked a little thicker there, so I put him down incase he wanted to poo, i picked up my friend's female pastel bp and she pooed on me and it reeked so when I just picked mine up, I thought he might poo on me too lol, so I put him down, hopefully he poops soon cause I miss handling him lol, selfish me, any other ideas or input from anyone, love this site, awesome advice

Yep. Deborah is right.....they poo when they poo. My Ginny poos around shed time - which is about every 10 weeks or so.

Check around the hides - that's the "chosen" spot for most BPs

It also depends on how much food they're getting compared to how much they can effectively process (and it's different for each animal). If you are constantly cleaning up big piles of poo, you may want to look at your feeding regime.
