    New in the hobby!
    Hello!

I've been in the tarantula hobby for a while now and just recently got my first ball python, a champagne girl!

I intend to get into breeding as well, along with my sig. other (who is in the hobby already)! Most likely will invest in a high quality axanthic male for my first breeding project! I live in the LA area and already go to a lot of reptile shows for tarantula purposes, can't wait to get more involved with ball pythons!

nice, always start wih females since hey need 3/4 years to get ready while males need 6 month to 1 year. Add other girls to your collection during 1 year and half then buy your male

I'm also working on a small axanthic breeding project, my first male is actually an axanthic champagne :).

Nice champagne girl and welcome to the hobby. Agreeing with darkranger69, you want to pick up girls to grow early on so that you can grow them nice and big. The boys don't take nearly as long. So while you're growing the girls, shops around for a great male.

Also, I sent you a PM

I will keep that in mind! Thank you! I'm figuring out which females I'm most interested in getting right now!
