    Twins update....2 different dads???!
I was always told this kind of thing is impossible, but the set of twins I got this year appear to be from 2 different dads. I paired an Enchi to my YB girl, they had 7 locks. I paired my Lesser male to the same YB girl and they had 1 marathon session lockup, then she ovulated 8 days later. Well, the first baby has made its way out of the egg, and appears to be an Enchi, looks Enchi to me. Has the headstamp and even has dad's little black specks on the lips. The other snake in the egg is clearly a Lesser, maybe a YB Lesser, I'll be able to better tell once it's out. I'll be posting vids to youtube once both animals are out.

Not impossible at all, rare but it happens.

First one looks like a normal to me.

Defiantly can happen! Identical twins would have to be the same sire because both babies came from the same egg from the mother and split in two to make two babies. Fraternal twins are different. Two eggs are ovulated from the mother and each is fertilized by a sperm. If there are sperm from two different males present, each egg gets its own daddy. In egg laying animals, it is very possible for the mother to shell two eggs together which would make two babies (with two yolks hatch from one egg shell. Actually, I believe that fraternal twins is much more likely in egg laying creatures as opposed to Identical twins. More pictures once the babies shed. Enchi can be tough to ID sometimes before shed. Were there any other enchi in the clutch?

They aren't all out yet. All I can tell so far is 1 other Lesser and 1 YB, in addition to the twins. 6 egg clutch

Best pics I could get to show the head on the possible Enchi :

This pic I took shortly before it was all the way out shows the black speckling around the lips, virtually identical to that of my Enchi breeder.
