New baby soon...kenyan sand boa?
It's a baby and we may be picking it up tomorrow. We can't decide between a 10 or a tub...I know the setup will be basic because they burrow anyway, so I figured tub, but she likes the tank. I hear a hide is unnecessary, is that true? I wanted cork flat..
Also, can they feed on rat pinks? Or are those too big?
I'm super excited. Already have heating and substrate ready to go :)

Problem! He won't eat unless in his cage, with sand as substrate. I figure if he lived in the wild there'd be no issue, so there's not too much to worry over, correct?

All my snakes take in substrate, sometimes quite a bit. It sure doesn't seem to bother them at all. I wouldn't think it would be any different for a Sand Boa considering that they can digest a rodent and what is inside it.
BTW- congrats on your new acquisition, I think Sand Boas are cool. I've been thinking about possibly getting one at some point.
Most docile snake in our collection for sure! He is so cute ^^ they have great personality and an awesome feed response...mine just so happens to like his cage
