Trip to the San Diego Zoo
Hey guys, I went to the SDZ last night and I thought I would share a few pics with you. Unfortunately the larger mammals were hard to take a good pic of because it was dark but on the bright side I got a lot of good herp pics.

Kaiser Newt. Ok I saved that one for last for a reason. I fell in love with these little guys last night and was doing a little research about care. But there are so many species and didn't no which ones are the most available (I don't want to end up with some exotic species with no care sheet) and the easiest care because I am a amphibian newbie.
    Thanks

Unfortunately that was the best pic of the cobra I got. He was a little shy but he has been out in other trips to the zoo and he is at least 7 feet. I think the gecko got its name because it looks a little like Satan. ;)

Out of all the zoos I've been to, SD is the #1. Every animal has a nice habitat, and not just a concrete box. Great pics mustang!

I don't think the newts should be too hard to care for, give them a try!
