    Strange chin pattern
I hatched 2 spider BPs this year and they both came out with an unusual (I think) amount of pattern on their chin/lower jaw.

One of them has slightly more coverage than the other, but they both have it. I'm not sure how unusual or not this is... Anyone seen this before?

    Here's a pic:

i'll have to check out my OD Spider baby later but i don't think it means anything. the "paint jobs" or patterns are just skin deep.

now if the skin or scales (i.e. blistered, burned) itself was looking strange, that would be a cause to worry.

Thanks. They are healthy and eating like champs, and there's nothing that looks worrying to me about those scales.
I meant unusual as in "I thought spiders had white chins", so I'm just curious as to whether others have spiders that exhibit chin patterns.

That's pretty cute! I've never had a spider so idk about the morph in particular but I like the uniqueness of all those chin markings

here's my OD Spider. his "chin" is clear but he has markings on other parts of his jaw. he has no wobble or any other problems.

    i hope this helps.

Thanks. Definitely helps. All spiders I had seen in person had a much clearer jaw/chin. Seeing yours I see it's the same kind of thing, just fainter/thinner. Thank you!

yeah, i would just chalk it up to different snakes, different patterns. think of it like how some normals look normal and then some normals just have reduced patterns.
