    Ginger is missing
My sweet girl broke out of her enclosure on either Tuesday night, or yesterday. I think that she might be in the baseboard heating unit....

How long can she survive on her own? We're having a heat wave here in NJ, so the a/c is on.

Did you find her yet :( I know i'm new to all this but maybe you could entice her out with some food at night?

Middle of the day, many people are working.

1st check everywhere in the room
2nd mouse in an escape proof box in the middle of the room.
    3rd good luck.

If search the room that is kept in from top to bottom first. Does the room you keep her in a bedroom or central room of your home?

There is also the method of setting up a heat pad on the floor and seeing if the heat draws her back in the night.

You could also may a thin layer of flour down, and check for trails. (If you don't have carpet)

Or as Pit said, a live feeder to try and entice her. Oh and luck.

But id start with a tear down of everything. They have been known to turn up on/in/behind stoves, dishwashers, washing machines, ventilation, and piping. So your gonna want to look any possible nook or crannie she could have fit in.

    Or as

In the meantime, don't let the house temp get below 76 degrees (?)

It's the air conditioning that I'm worried about. I've turned it up to 78. The weather should change tonight/tomorrow.

Yes, when hubby gets home, we're going to tear the house apart (I'm disabled and can't do much by myself).

Thanks for responding to my post - I love her soooo much.

I looked in the baseboard heaters as well as I could - seems like a perfect place for her.....
