    Aspen vs carefresh
I just got my 3ft long and thick as a quarter king snake 4 weeks ago the previous owner had him on carefresh I currently have it on Aspen and I noticed Aspen has a lot of sharp edges and it is also dusty I know carefresh is dusty too. but I'm wondering is carefresh is better for my king snake ? because I feed him in his cage, lol I know a lot of people say feed em in a different cage, I've tried but he gets extremely wild about it, and ends up not eating.. so I feed him in his enclosure my thing is I just want to know if carefresh is better because I don't want my king snake to die because he swallowed a sharp piece of Aspen please leave me some of your thoughts it would be a great help thanks [emoji4]

Snakes have evolved over thousands of years without a problem...I feed my whole collection in there cage from aspen eco earth and cypress.if you feed f/t try not to have the rat wet so the substrate dosnt stick to it

I sometimes use shredded aspen for my snakes and I've never had any issues. I also use the aspen sani-chips which I like a lot.
