Aggressive Ball Python

I picked up my last pair of balls to complete my collection. The female is very aggressive and will try to bite any time she is picked up. I knew this before I got her as the owner was very honest about it. She is gorgeous and I have experience dealing with large aggressive Burmese and reticulated pythons so it was not a big deal for me. I have been successful taming other aggressive snakes down so I plan to take the same approach with this one. I am positive she has figured out that if I bite human goes away so my hope is to break that thought process for her.

She is an adult and I have never seen a ball this aggressive. Has anyone else had experience with an aggressive adult ball python and where you able to tame it?

I think its possible especially with your experience with bigger snakes. I always laugh at by snappy BPs telling them "You;re a BP, relax already". It should just take time. I have a few Snappy ones in the collection of close to 100. I just kind of let them strike and pick them up. I do have a particularly nasty pastel sub adult that I haven't mellowed out yet.

She's not aggressive, she's defensive. I have a few like this. They never relax while in-hand, you pick them up and they stay stiff as a board. Eventually they do figure out that tagging you doesn't make you go away and they stop biting, but they never really turn into nice pets either.
