Hey Guys :D
I just wanted to ask how to start,
I've Got a 2500g Female and a 1700g male
Are the sizes correct ?
What month should i start the cool off period ?
For how long before introducing the male to the female ?
Do you feed a female while she is pregnant ?
How long does all the process take from start, to hatched snakes

Your animals are big enough. However, there are important questions to ask yourself before you put them together.

1. Why do you want to breed them?
If it is to see if you can, the answer is yes. Anyone can put two snakes together and they will do what comes natural. If its for the money, you will likely end up in the red before you get the babies sold. If it is to produce a specific morph, what do you have and what are you shooting for?

2. Do you have all the necessary equipment to incubate and raise hatchlings?
Obviously you need an incubator if you want to optimize your chances of eggs going to term. You will need a hatchling rack, a thermostat, thermometer, water dishes, and enough capital to afford food for up to 13 hatchlings.

3. Are you ready to permanently own upwards of a dozen snakes?
There is a possibility that you will have difficulty selling your hatchlings, especially if they are just single gene animals. Unless you drastically discount them you may have them a very long time. (Refer to question 1, the part about money) If you do not sell everything, are you prepared to care for them for the next 20 to 30 years as that is life expectancy and you will be responsible for producing them?

If you are not prepared to research the answers, then you are probably not ready to breed. Just my $0.02
