OMG! my daughter might be a convert!

We are almost a snake family. I say that because my one daughter (9) is/was terrified of them. She was the first one to get tagged, and since then cries and runs away. We were at the animal show this weekend to replace her Degu's, (worst pet ever). They bite, hard, like 100x a snake if not more. I had one bite me thumb and it took over a month to heal. I'll take a tag from my snakes any day. I digress, we were looking at things like hedge hogs and all of the sudden she says "can I have a snake?" Excuse me, can you speak into my good ear? OK pod people, where is my daughter? I told her she needs to play with them, feed them, and get them out of the bins before I ever just got her one. And all week that is what she has been doing. I wonder if she got kicked by a mule or fell off the monkey bars or something. Or maybe it just is invasion of the body snackers!

Here's to hoping, we are a snake family. Sans retic, she still won't touch that one.
