    You can see the glottis closed on the floor of her mouth - that's the windpipe that allows snakes to breathe even while consuming large prey items. Here's a pic with the glottis open:

    To answer the question.. yes I have. At work there is a 19' retic, and it yawns on a fairly regular basis. They're so beautiful.

    The last pic is awesome. Nothing like a retic's eyes.

    It's so funny, I say snakes love to yawn. They stretch first one side, then the other of their jaws.

    I work at Serpent Safari. It's a reptile zoo, and home to Baby, who is the world's largest snake. She's in the Guiness record book. 403 lbs 27' burm.

    They actually have three retics there. A normal, a tiger, and a lavender albino.
