    All white (leucistic) looks injured...causes?
My leucistic is constantly looking like he is rubbing or something and leaving red marks all over himself. It's almost like he is trying to squeeze and leaving red rub marks, being white I can see this very well. His hide is the right size and it's not burns (being summer no heat pads or lights are on at this point). I don't know if this is normal but since he is a light color I can just notice it more readily. Anyone have an issue or experience with this?

In cases like this pictures are worth a thousand words.

Pictures would help. Red marks is very particular...

Also, a heat pad should still be offered no matter what time of the year.

Have you seen him through a shed cycle? As my Pied gets older and is preparing to shed, his whites take on a strong pink hue that could almost resemble rubs sometimes. This last shed it was particularly noticable and had me worried that he'd somehow gotten himself injured.

If you can, agree with above. Pictures help a lot

He just shed and they are still there. It also happens in-between sheds. I will try to get some pictures I don't post them a lot so I always have to re-learn the process.
