Second time's the charm.

Manasa had her second shed (for me) earlier this week, and it seems to have gone MUCH better than the first. Her first shed came off in pieces, and she still had the eyecaps and a couple of small patches on her head leftover. Figured since she's still a little head-shy, was better to wait for the next shed than risk hurting her.

The temperature in my living room upstairs was fluctuating too much, so I moved her down to the basement last month where it stays more or less constant, though a little cooler. Has made keeping the proper temps and humidity in the tank much easier, without having to constantly fiddle with them :)

Looking pretty. Hard to believe she's grown almost 6" and more than doubled in weight since I got her :P

Checking out her freshly cleaned and re-arranged tank ... which she celebrated by promptly leaving a pile of poo against one of her hides. Thanks, snake:rolleyes:

Success. Very bright snake too. I'm hoping my second shed will go better also. Orochimaru still has one patch on him a little farther back his neck, but its coming off.
