How do I get security in purchasing on here threw paypal.com? ???

I'm pursuing on here now threw paypal.com. what tips for securuty. If they send me an invoice and I pay. . Well help.

Paypal do not cover live animal shipments at all.

Just buy from someone trustworthy.

Paypal doesn't guarantee live arrival etc, but you can Dispute a Transaction through the Resolution Center on Paypal. Also, insurance is available to buy through ShipYourReptile for $100.

Check the sellers reputation :gj:

The insurance on SYR doesn't cost $100. It costs $2.50 for the minimum coverage of $100 worth of loss. You can insure Live Arrival for up to $10,000 through the SYR website. (You can insure for more than that if you work with Robyn Markland, directly)

SYR's insurance only applies if there is a problem during shipping. It doesn't apply if you send money to a scammer.

The best way to protect yourself is:
1) Never send money as a gift, and
2) Use a credit card, not your bank account or a debit card, to back up your PayPal payment. That way if there is a dispute and PayPal does nothing for you due to its policy of not covering live animal transactions, you can make a claim through your credit card company.

Note: scammers are also well aware of #2 when buying - they purchase something (not just animals) and then claim it never arrived or was not as described with their own credit card company. Since the seller can only deal with PayPal and not the merchant processor or credit card companies involved, the seller often loses the dispute even when the item was shipped and arrived safely. The scammer then ends up with both the item purchased and gets a refund, and the seller ends up with not just the purchase price but also any chargeback fees pulled from his PayPal account.

That's rather terrible. I've had some people try to burn me on ebay via paypal. Buyers almost always win, even when you provide shipping information. Which I always do. So lame.

I actually don't know that you can purchase on here threw paypal. But the reputation of paypal is very good. I suggest that you must try it once. Thank you
