    Stunted Growth?
So, I have done some figuring and from what the guy I purchased my BP from said, she has to be between 9 mos. and 1 year old. She is right around 22"-23" long. I do not have a scale so I can't weigh her. She was grossly underfed when I got her she was only getting one pinky mouse per week. This past feeding I gave her a small mouse and she handled that fine. I can feel her bones so I know she is way underweight. My question is this: could her growth have already been stunted to the point where she is going to stay fairly small, or she won't reach her full potential growth wise? Thanks http://s27.postimg.org/yrwe4c543/IMG..._141053043.jpg

I see you're from Brainerd. First time I've seen a fellow Minnesotan on here. I'm from St. Cloud! Oh, and thanks for your reply it eased my mind a bit.

Aawww... that poor baby!! She will be just fine as long as u feed her properly.
I would recomend 1x week no larger than the girth. Remember.....two small meals are better than one large.

Looks like you have your work cut out for you with this girl. As others have already stated, she'll grow normally with feeding... I'm betting she will be a fantastic eater for you.

We have a rescue who was fed only once a month with her previous "owner" (original owner bailed, roommate cared for snake as best he knew to) and we just have to walk into the room with rats, she'll come running to the front of her tub and wait with eager eyes until we get to her. We don't have to wait more than 2-3 seconds, she knows what to do, and looks as grateful as a snek can look once she's done.

Looking forward to seeing more pictures of your sweet girl when she starts putting weight on for you! :)

She is in fact a great eater. As soon as I open her cage with mouse in tongs she comes flying out and devours it in no time flat. Time to fatten her up a bit. I'm feeding every four days in hopes that will help.
