How soon do females begin building follicles again?
I am curious as to when females begin building follicles again after laying. Our female laid back in December. If she decides to form follicles again this upcoming season, what's the usual timeline? I can't seem to feel any yet. She's eaten about 15 rats since laying 8 months ago and has been put on about 400g more than she weighed last year, topping her at about 2600g.

I've once heard a big breeder saying that when females eat about 20 rats after laying, chances are good they will go the next season. One of my females laid a good clutch in May this year, she ate like a monster after that. At this moment she is building already for this season.

There was a member on here that answered a similar question I posted, and they said they had a female drop two clutches within 9 months of each other. I have a female that just dropped six eggs the end of July and is already bowl wrapping and locking with one of my males. So I imagine she is building follicles already too. I waited 5 months before pairing her but she had recovered her weight long before that.
