    Damn that's hot!
    So I was doing a full clean of one of the enclosures today and plugged the UTH in without the thermostat just to see what would happen. Disclaimer: Not in with the snake, away from him. Safety first. Anyway, damn thing hit 114 degrees. Bottom line, don't do it people. Use a thermostat with your UTHs. It may seem like an unnecessary expense but you are risking serious injury to your critter. I know we hear it all the time, but it bears repeating.
