They pipped!!!! Now i have a question
My eggs just pipped i have 8 beautiful babys ready to emerge. I cut the rest to ensure their survival. Now that im placing them back in the incubator should i do so covered or uncovered. Should i put the lid back on the babies or keep the container open?

Going off what I've seen/heard/read here, so someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe that once they've pipped/been cut, you can remove anything that was sealing the moisture in (like press-n-seal) but leave the lid on the box.

I put mine back in the incubator with the lids on, if for no other reason but to keep them in the container.
Then again my incubator is an old refrigerator.

Put the lid back and ventilate daily.

What I have done is get a second lid and melt holes on the top. When the first baby starts to pip, replace the solid lid with the ventilated lid. Works for me.
