    Popping a ball python
I want to pop my adult ball python. I had her probed a long time ago and they said she was a female but I would like to know for myself. Ive watched videos and done research but I still cant do it. Ive tried with my male and the female. I was planning on breeding for the first time this year so i wanted to know for a fact that the genders were right.

The older they are, the harder it is and if you don't know and have never done it an adult is the worst to learn on.

Ive had the same struggle. Ive watched tons of videos but couldnt figure out why I couldnt seem to pop any of my snake. Then I got a new hatchling and I popped him easily. All my other ball pythons are over 600g which was my problem

Buy a probe set for 20 and you can find out on any Snake.

It's all about practise, you need to precise on small hatchling first once you are proficient at that, try with larger animals.

Also have someone showing you in person, videos are great but only in person do you get a real idea of how much pressure you must apply and proper finger placement.
