    Overfeeding?
What constitutes overfeeding? I'm currently feeding my BP two mice a week, one on Sunday and another on Thursday. From what I've read, a single feeding of something the same size as the BP's largest point is sufficient. These mice are maybe 65% the circumference of that largest point. I'll be going out of town next week, but I'm not sure if feeding him two mice back to back is a good idea. I'm not sure if it's safe for him.

Is this safe, or should I just return to the normal routine when I get back next Saturday and skip a week of feeding?

I would skip a week, it won't hurt him at all. As far as what constitutes overfeeding (from what I've read) is giving them large prey back-to-back; power feeding.

My BP is still a baby & I feed every 4-5 days, so feeding days are always changing. One week its a Mon, nxt feeding is Sat. Tues, thn Sun, etc. Allows me to be flexible if something comes up, I can feed a day earlier or later if needed. But don't worry at all about him. Just give him his usual meal & when you get back feed him on his scheduled day.
