Picking up a female albino brooks/breeding question
So I have finally made up my mind and am purchasing a nice female albino brooks Kingsnake to go with my male hypo brooks Kingsnake next year to get some double hets and slowly work towards albino hypos but I was wondering about breeding I know they can be cannibalistic and eat the other has anyone ever had this and how can I avoid it from happening

Well, imo, and I used to keep kings previously. As long as you keep them well fed and they remain the same or close to the same size you wont have anything to worry about. I did keep mine in different enclosures and only had them together at breeding time. I brumated them in a large thirty gallon but the females were in their own tubs and the males likewise. Nice project you are getting into. Good luck.:D The different enclosures I spoke about were males separate in their own space and females likewise until of course breeding time.

Thanks and that's what I was going to try well fed and same size because it would be hard to eat something your own size and yea I'm excited I'm also looking for an axanthic or anery to mix in after long long project lol
