nice looking bp. how long is he/she? :)

what kind of substrate are you using??? and the stick on thermometers tend to not be accurate. ever considered getting a digital Accurite? they should be down lower, too... the ground temp matters more than the higher up air temp :)

I use the Repti Bark, it's a mix between a little bit of soil and bark.. and there is hardly any soil. i have considered getting a digital thermometer, and there not down lower because when i put them on i didnt know much about bp's so i put them up there thinking it was ok.. it's ok she loves them anyways, i'll catch her up there occasionaly wraped around them, i'll snap a pic next time i do.

Cute snake. I like your cage too.
I use repti bark too. I am currently looking to buy cypress mulch, which is what rbark really is, but cheaper. But it is the wrong time of year now around here; maybe next Spring?

You might want to slap on a background for your tank as well. It looks nice and I guess the snake feels more secure with it. You can cover 3 of the sides, 2 or just the back, it's up to you.

What size tank is that? What kind of humidity do you get with it, and what's the temp on the cool side? (I ask not in criticism, but because I too will be using a tank, and want to know what to expect.)

to be honest, i dont know... last i looked the(a few minutes ago)temp was 80+ and humidy was 70. but i KNOW that the temps are higher in her hide. because i just was hodling her and i put her back in and it was warm, really warm, because i put her in her hide when im done holding her. so she is fine. and the tank is 20gallons.

Nice pics. And I also don't want to criticize, but it might be too warm for the bp if the heat feels really warm to you. Our body temperature is 98.6 degrees, so usually for something to feel real warm, it'll have to be in the high 90's or more. Of course, I'm no scientist, so I may be way off. But I would either lower the stick on gauges so you have a slightly more accurate temperature reading, or get a digital thermometer so you actually know what temp it is in the hides.

    Cute bp. :) 8)
