BP not using hide much and nudging me when going to pick up
I have a 2 year old ball python that is about 4 foot in length and when I got him he was always in his hide but recently he has been spending all of his time in the back corner of his via (cold end ) behind the wooden climbs we have in there and when I go to pick him up from there he nudges me away where he didn't do that when he was in his hide what can I do I am afraid of him biting me when I get him out.

Have you noticed anything else off about his behavior? Being much less active or sneezing or wheezy breathing?

He has been less active for the past like 3 weeks

The hot end heat is about 85° because when I raised it he became stressed so I had to lower it again

What do you mean by stressed? When did you lower the heat back again? Is he going into shed because sometimes they will rub on things when they are shedding.

He was getting all agitated because of the heat and ever since he has been on a heat bulb he has been about 85° from the last owner
