Different lines or types of albino?
Now I am aware that caramel and lavender albinos are not compatible with the regular albino gene, but looking on WOBP I noticed that they list albino, low contrast albino, and high contrast albino separately. I had thought those 3 were more the product of line breeding or something, and were compatible. Was I wrong? What got me thinking on this was having a clutch of 9 eggs from a visual albino male and a supposed het female produce all hets, not one albino. So it's either really bad odds, or the females not het. Then the possibility of incompatibility occurred to me. Considering the way the rest of my season has been going though, I'm leaning towards the bad odds/not het explanation.
