    New here.
Hi all, I'm new here and to ball pythons. Although I have been reading through this forum for a few weeks now before registering.
Anyhow, I'm from the UK and have recently got my first bp. Unsure of sex and still no name as yet. It is a normal bp.
This evening was my first attempt at feeding, he/she is currently on jumbo mice f/t.
The usual feeding day where I got him from was either Thursday or Friday. I know he ate last Friday.
    I picked him up Monday.
He struck and coiled right away, then adjusted himself before reversing back into his hide, taking the mouse with him. Is this quite normal?
I believe him to be just under a year old. Has been tried on rats but turned his nose up.
thanks, and will get some pics up at some point.
    Kath.

Did he finish eating the mouse? You would be surprised at the diversity of what is 'normal' with bps. As long as he is eating, pooping, and shedding you are on track!

Seems I was worrying over nothing. Mouse eaten! He's just come out for a stretch with a telltale bump in his belly.
    Thanks, Kath.
