    Need quick advice
I finally got my lesser and bumblebee on frozen thawed!!![emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16] [emoji16] they ate a small rat last night (overnight). But they both should be on mediums...the lesser is 1100 g and the bee is 1600g. can I feed them another small tonight? I know it's best to feed all in one day but is 2 days consecutively bad? Thanks

I would wait until your next scheduled feeding day but I'm no expert, maybe someone else will reply :)

I'm going to disagree with the others. If they can eat one medium every 7 days then why can't they eat two smalls in the same time frame? It's roughly the same amount of food just in smaller increments. I break my snake's meals quite often, especially in the summer. I feed smaller meals more often.

The thing I wasn't sure about was that it wasn't the same day, it'd be feeding 2 days consecutively. I didnt know if this would be bad for the snake

In my opinion I would wait until the next scheduled feeding. BPs are opportunistic feeders in the wild. The eat when they can. I think in our hobby we tend to overfeed our animals. Many people feed full grown males weighing 1500 grams or more, a single rat small once every 7 to 10 days and they thrive just fine. Your snakes don't need to be filled up and I also believe that overfeeding can lead to periods of refusal.

    Thank you, I will wait!

Personally, unless you have a BIG 2500+ gram female, one small rat every 7 days is a perfect feeding schedule. I would NEVER feed an 1100 gram snake a medium rat.

Wait until next feeding, and offer the same f/t smalls.
