    If you're deliberately cooling your snake for breeding, no. Otherwise, yes.

    My quick simple reply:
    Warm side - 90-95 degrees
    Cool side - 80-85 degrees
    Humidity - 55-60%, 80% for shedding

    Yes, I agree 100% with what Cody said!

    Even for breeding, 78 is too low on the hot side if you are going to continue to feed your animals. The lowest my hot spots get are 82 - 85 degrees during cycling.
