    Russian Tortoise Tips
Hey guys. I think I will be adding to my reptile collection soon. I am thinking about getting a Russian Tortoise. I have been doing some reading on various care sheets but just wanted to get some opinions on tips or personal experience of any kind.
I also have a question, we have built an outside enclosure for him/her with a fully covered top with chicken wire and I was wondering would a hatchling be ok outside or should we get a yearling? Thanks.

If you can get a captive bred animal that is older it's always going to be more hardy, regardless of species but especially with tortoises, turtles and lizards and amphibians.
