    Homemade rat mix?
Anyone make their own rat mix for their feeders? With petfooddirect and pet360 being under new ownership, the prices have just gone crazy. I have about 4 bags worth of food left but I'm getting worried about coming up with a good substitute mix to make. It needs to be about the same nutrition as the lab blocks. I don't want unhealthy animals or a drop in production or condition.

I breed both rats and mice.

I feed a hog food that's at 16% protein. It sells locally for 8 a 50lb bag. I also supplement with daily dinner scraps & this mix http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...odent-Feed-Mix
