    Humidity problems, only 48%!!
So for the past two days i've been trying to get a better humidity level in my BP's tank and haven't been having much luck. Each day when i've gotten home from work the humidity has been 46-48% throughout the tank. I did add more water to the substrate, just enough so that it can hold a form, loosely, and added some coconut husks that had been soaked for a couple minutes in some water.
I'm hoping this will help hold the humidity steadier throughout the day, but was wondering if anyone may know of any cheap and easy tricks to help increase humidity?

If you have a screen top, you could put a damp towel over 1/2 - 2/3 of it. That's worked for me before.

Why do you think you need to increase humidity? 48% is perfectly fine.

i've been trying to bring it up because he is going through a shed right now. Most of what i've been reading has been recommending 60%-70% for the shedding period.

Have you tried a humid hide as a solution? You don't necessarily have to increase the humidity of the entire enclosure to get the results you're looking for (a successful shed).

Go to the dollar store, buy a tupperware container that can fit the snake, cut a decent hole in the lid, fill it with moistened paper towel or sphagnum moss place in cage.
